Presentation line-up is subject to change
This is our fourth annual conference, to be presented exclusively in the “case presentation” format.  There will not be hours of dry instructional lecture, just real cases presented by real investigators.  This two and a half day conference will include numerous high profile homicide case presentations, presented by the actual investigators and prosecutors with a focus on “lessons learned”.  This conference is open to governmentally employed law enforcement officers and investigators, supervisors, lab employed scientists, analysts, prosecutors and medicolegal staff.  Click HERE for more information on qualifications for membership/attendance.  There will also be a product vendor expo where relevant equipment and products will be on display.  The actual presentation days are May 4th, 5th and morning of the 6th. Hotel check in and evening social event Tuesday May 3rd.
Tuition for the full two and a half day conference is $300.  This includes a 2016 WHIA membership (required).  If the attendee acquires 2016 membership prior to the conference, a $25 refund will be issued at the event.  All attendees will receive admission to various occasionally hosted evening networking centers as well as inclusion in drawings for some fantastic door prizes. Tuition also includes morning coffee & snacks (3 days), 2 lunches and 3 evening hospitality events with food provided.   The special conference rate for hotel rooms will be $89 for non view, or $123 for view, per night plus taxes.  Make reservations soon, all rooms sold out last year. See below for additional hotel information.

A short 10 mile ride up the road is the casino-owned White Horse Golf Club!  While playing a rewarding round of golf you will enjoy the peaceful surroundings and frequent sighting of local wildlife, who call the course home.  Nestled among old growth fir, pine and cedar trees this is considered one of Kitsap Peninsula’s finest golf locations. Each hole is very playable for all skill levels with five sets of tees to choose from allowing every golfer to find the course that fits their golf game.  Following golf you will want to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of the Cedar Ridge Grill offering great food and an incredible Northwest view overlooking the 18th hole.  Summer dining on our outdoor patio is the perfect finish for your White Horse Golf experience. Our excellent golf course conditions allow you to play ‘summer rules’ year around even during the wet times of the Northwest. White Horse was recognized by Golf Digest as one of the ‘Top 10’ best new public golf courses in 2007. There will be  a special rate for conference attendees.  Check with the pro shop for details.  The Casino will provide transportation to and from the course with advanced arrangements.   Reserve your tee time early.  For reservations call (360)297-4468, or click HERE.
